• Parking and Shuttles

The parking fee in designated lots is $5 per vehicle, with free shuttles to and from the Candy Dance Faire. The locations of these lots are:

* Foothill Road south of Genoa
* Genoa Lane east of Genoa
* Jacks Valley Road north of Genoa

Free parking will be available at Douglas High School and the Carson Valley Inn in Minden. Shuttle service to and from the Genoa will be available at these locations for $2 per person (round trip). The shuttle runs during Faire hours on both Saturday and Sunday

Genoa Candy Dance Arts and Crafts Faire

More than 4,000 pounds of homemade candy will be for sale

The Town of Genoa, located about 38 miles south of Reno, presents the 88th Annual Candy Dance Arts and Crafts Faire on Sept. 27-28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The Faire will feature more than 325 juried craft booths, food vendors, family activities, live entertainment and 4,000 pounds of Genoa’s famous homemade candy. Free admission; parking is $5 per vehicle, with free shuttles.

The Candy Dance Dinner Dance will at the historic Orchard House in Genoa, Sat. evening, Sept. 27, 4 to 10 pm. Doors open at 4 pm; dinner served at 5 pm. Live music for "Candy Dancin'" will be played by the Dealer's Choice band. Dinner dance tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under, and must be purchased in advance by Sept. 22. Dance-only tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Contact the Genoa Town Office at 775-782-8696 to purchase tickets. More information: http://www.genoanevada.org/.
