Sterling’s Seafood Steakhouse Restaurant Director Philip DeManczuk and his team have done it again – Silver Legacy Resort Casino is honored to announce that the restaurant has received the prestigious Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine for the tenth consecutive year.

"We are constantly evaluating the wines we offer,” said DeManczuk of Sterling’s most recent honor. “Maintaining top quality wines is incredibly important, we regularly move wines in and out of Sterling’s to sustain the very best wine selection for our customers."

Wine Spectator Magazine awards this prize annually to only 3,000 restaurants worldwide that meet their expectations as fine dining establishments with excellent wine programs. The essential criteria for this award include how an establishment pairs wines with food and proper protocol in presentation and service.

Sterling’s wine program has been a pet project of DeManczuk since his arrival in 1998. Sterling’s currently offers more than 40 wines by the glass and around 300 wines by the bottle. Each glass of wine is served in fine crystal and expertly paired with the restaurant’s gourmet food for maximum flavor.
