The Reno-Fernley Raceway announces the kick-off of our “Arrive & Drive” program with Chris Evans Inc (CEI) on Aug. 8. Your “Arrive & Drive” CEI Driving Experience event will not be a "follow the leader", slow speed driving session. You will be in the driver seat of a purpose built race car capable of high speed acceleration, corning, and braking. After the initial orientation and driver coaching sessions, you will be allowed to achieve your optimum speed. Based on your skill, ability, and desire… you can compete in the end-of-day Great American Stock Car Series (GASS) race session!

The CEI Driving Experience is open to all participants… you don't need any prior racing experience. You will be provided with a purpose built Ford, Dodge or Chevy “Stock Car”, all of the necessary safety equipment in addition to expert driver instruction and coaching. All you need to do is bring the desire of driving a Stock Car at racing speed!

All events start at 8 a.m. unless otherwise noted. Every participant will attend a mandatory drivers meeting prior to getting on the track. During the meeting safety equipment will be assigned and we'll go through car and track orientation. A safety review will be conducted and all first-time drivers will participate in ride-along session with one of our instructors. The on-track sessions will be approximately 15-20 minutes in length with review sessions at the conclusion of each session. The end-of-day "GASS Race" will be available for all qualifying participants. Your Driving Experience will conclude at approximately 4 p.m.
