Sterling's Seafood Steakhouse showcases dishes paired with Sake

Sterling's Seafood Steakhouse, a nine-time Wine Spectator Award of Excellence Winner is proud to present a special gourmet dinner, showcasing exciting new dishes paired with flavored Sake presented on Wed., July 2 at 6 p.m.
The evening will be hosted by Luis de Santos, MS of Las Vegas and will begin with a gathering featuring a duo of Zipang and Star Mood Rabbit Sparkling Sakes. The four course meal begins with Miso Soup with nori-wrapped diver scallop, shiitake mushrooms, crisp vegetables and lotus root with Firecracker Shrimp over cucumber salad paired with Hakutsura “Superior” Junmai Gingo from Hyogo, Japan. The second course will consist of Spinach and Rice Noodle Salad with Fuji apples, lychee, star-fruit and a light sesame Mirin vinaigrette paired with Jokigen “Happiness” Junmai Gingo from Yamagata, Japan. The main course showcases Kobe Hanger Steak with a Tahini crust, served over green tea-infused rice, baby bok choy and a tamarind glaze paired with Momokawa “G Joy” Genshu from Forest Grove, Oregon. Round out the meal with a scrumptious dessert of Mango and Passion Fruit Mousse filled with coconut cream on almond-coconut sponge and warm mango sauce paired with Hana “Lychee” flavored Sake from Berkeley, California.
