See rock masters behind 'Blue Collar Man' and 'Come Sail Away'

Legendary rock group Styx will be returning to the Grande Exposition Hall at Silver Legacy Resort Casino on 9 p.m. July 18 for one spectacular show.

After more than three decades in the music business, Styx continues to strike a chord with fans by thrilling them with their live shows and pulling out all the stops for each performance by creating an intimate audience experience with an energetic live concert. The band members are known for talking directly to the audience throughout the show and taking requests.

Known for hits including Miss America, Blue Collar Man (Long Nights) and Come Sail Away, the band’s latest release, 2005’s Big Bang Theory, an album of only rock cover songs featured a remake of the Beatle’s song “I Am The Walrus which was a No. 2 hit on the Billboard Charts.

As of April 21, 2006, according to the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) which awards artists and groups gold/platinum status, Styx had sold 17.5 million records within the United States.
