During this year's event, Sept. 7 to 9, spectators can expect some familiar shapes and some exciting new visitors to Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. Wells Fargo will once again present everyone's favorite bumblebees, Lilly and Joey. They will lead the pack on all three days as they blaze the path for the Hare & Hound Competition, kissing their way to the finish line. Thanks to the Wilbur D. May Foundation's support Hopper T. Frog, a 41-foot giant amphibian, will join Sea Fantasy, an enormous blue octopus, to provide tethered rides benefitting the Children's Cabinet. What's not to love about the Reno Air Races and Air Show? Spectators return year after year to see the most amazing flights and watch pilots compete in the championship pylon races. Don't miss this amazing event. The 2007 National Championship Air Races and Air Show in Reno are set for Sept. 12 to Sept. 16 at Stead field, eight miles North of Reno. Get ready for fast bikes, hot choppers, loud pipes and more Sept. 19 to 23 as the 14th annual celebration of all things motorcycles gets underway. Reno loves it's riders, whether you cruise the open highways, take the winding mountain roads or ride the dirt until the sun goes down. This event is located within a short drive from Carson City, the state's capital, and is a perfect place to start holiday gift shopping. It's the ultimate candy and craft sale with artisans from all over Northern Nevada flocking to sell their wares. Breathe in the small-town spirit of an old-fashioned craft sale and stock up on candy and sugarplums for the winter season.
