Official Balloon Race volunteer group looks for help

Great Reno Balloon Race 2007 was a magnificent event, but it takes a lot of volunteer heart and soul to pull it off. If you enjoyed this year's event, why not take part in next year's Race? Help the Great Reno Balloon Race and the talented pilots get off the ground by acting as an Aeronaut.

If you are over 18 and love hot-air balloons, you’d make a great addition to the Aeronaut squadron. The Great Reno Balloon Race Aeronauts support The Great Reno Balloon Race as well as hot-air ballooning throughout the year. Membership is $30 per year. The next meeting, and the last before the Balloon Race, is Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Grand Sierra Resort’s Carson 1 room. For more information, visit www.renoballoon.com or call (775) 827-2086.
