What’s the hubbub about the Brew HaHa?

The “brew” at this year’s Brew HaHa promises to be one of the best, most comprehensive selections of suds in the event’s twelve-year history. Nearly 80 different fermented libations, including at least 69 different beers and a host of other potable concoctions, will be available during the annual Sierra Arts Foundation fundraiser.
Brew HaHa XII is 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Jan. 19 in the Rose Ballroom of John Ascuaga’s Nugget. General admission tickets are $40 per person and $50 each for reserved seating. One price includes responsibly unlimited samples from the dozens upon dozens of beverages offered by more than 25 different local, national and international breweries. This year’s entertainer is Boston-based guitarist Johnny A. His latest works include 2004's Get Inside and 1999's Sometime Tuesday Morning, are the critically acclaimed solo culmination of a lifetime of learning, sharing and bonding in a long parade of bands and players.
Sierra Arts is the local arts organization dedicated to presenting and promoting cultural events, arts in education, art in public places and other arts programs as needed in our community.
